Donna currently serves as the Director of La Grange Tourism & Conventions, where she brings her passion for hospitality, community spirit, and small-town charm to everything she does. A proud resident of La Grange, Donna is the devoted mother of two daughters, Brooke and Brittany, owners of B-Hive Childcare Academy. She’s also a proud “Nonna” to three grandchildren, Dylan, Lyla Belle, and Luca, who are truly the light of her life.
Donna spent more than 34 years with Hometown Pizza Inc., including many years as Vice President of Employee and Guest Relations. Through her work, she became known for building genuine connections and creating warm, welcoming environments wherever she went.
Her love for the community is evident in the many roles she has embraced over the years. Donna has received several meaningful honors, including being named Board Member of the Year by Main Street La Grange, Distinguished Citizen of Honor by Oldham County, and Volunteer of the Year, an award she has impressively received nine times through the Best of Oldham County recognition.
Today, Donna also leads the Alley Loop Committee, spearheading efforts to beautify the alleys of La Grange. Her commitment to service extends well beyond her professional responsibilities. She has been a dedicated Rotarian for more than ten years and currently serves on the board of Every Slice Matters. Previously, she chaired the Oldham County Red Cross and is a proud Lifetime Member of the Kentucky PTO.
In recognition of her decades of service, Donna Sabo was named an Oldham County Living Treasure, a well-deserved honor for someone who has made such a lasting impact. She has volunteered for nearly 38 years at La Grange Elementary’s Breakfast with Santa and continues to support beloved local events such as the La Grange Rotary Pancake Breakfast, Blue Hydrangea, and Light Up La Grange.
In her free time, Donna enjoys thrift shopping, spending time with her family, and cherishing every moment as a grandmother. She dreams of spending future Christmases at Dollywood, soaking in the holiday magic.
Above all, Donna has a rare gift: she makes everyone she meets feel valued and welcomed. La Grange and Oldham County are truly better places because of her.

La Grange is more than just a city on a map; it is a vibrant community built on strong values, hard work, and a shared belief that local government should serve its people with integrity, transparency, and respect. I share our city’s rich history, our diverse neighborhoods, and the strong sense of connection that makes La Grange a unique place to live, work, and raise a family.
I am running for La Grange Mayor because I believe our city deserves community leadership that listens first, plans carefully, and acts responsibly. This leadership should unite us rather than divide us. It should focus on practical solutions, fiscal responsibility, and sustainable growth while preserving the character and quality of life that defines La Grange.
This campaign is about the future of La Grange, ensuring that our local government is accessible, accountable, and responsive to the needs of residents and businesses alike. It’s about working collaboratively with city staff, council members, and citizens to strengthen our infrastructure, support economic opportunities, and keep La Grange safe, welcoming, and prosperous.
I am asking for your trust and support as we work together to move La Grange forward with honesty, commitment, and a shared vision for what our city can be. Together, we can achieve great things for La Grange, guided by the principles of community leadership.

Public Safety:
Strong support for our police and first responders, because safe communities come first. Backing law enforcement with the resources they need to protect and serve our community.
Taxes & Fiscal Responsibility:
Protecting taxpayers by keeping taxes low and ensuring responsible, accountable spending.
Economic Growth:
Promoting smart economic growth while preserving the character and values of our community.
